This Gear-driven model has 3 Speeds and comes with all 3 major accessories: a Dough Hook, a Flat Beater and a Wire Whip along with a Stainless Steel Bowl and a safety guard. Additionally, this unit comes with an industry-standard #12 Power Hub, which will allow you to operate special attachments such as a Meat Grinder, a Cheese Shredder/Grater and a Vegetable Slicer (sold separately). Finally this mixer has an extremely powerful 1.5hp motor, which compares favorably with other mixers of this size.
This heavy-duty unit weighs 275lbs and uses standard 110V electrics to easily plug into any home or commercial kitchen. While this unit is NOT RATED for Thin or Medium Pizza Dough, it is rated for up to 10lb batches of THICK (60% A/R Ratio) Pizza Dough.
The following capacity limits apply to other dough types: Cakes, Sugar Cookies and Pie Dough = 14-16lbs, Heavy breads and Rolls and Whole Wheat Dough = 10-12lbs, Mashed Potatoes = 12lbs, Icing = 9lbs. Figures include total dough weight including flour, water and all other ingredients and vary depending upon Absorption Ratio, type of flour used and temperature of water.
